@matigo Nope. It’s such a huge sports event that it will be watched until the very end. Even in countries that are not participating (or even can imagine participating, like Finland) watch the whole tournament.
Now I am listening to an album that also has darn great guitar riffs in every song: The Age of Nero [itunes.apple.com] by Satyricon. [itunes.apple.com]
@gtwilson I was never a big fan of the well-known rock and metal bands like AC/DC or Black Sabbath1, but I understand why they are so popular. Greats albums full of great songs.
Mostly due to the fact that I had no easy access to their music back when I was young. Now I am catching up, luckily.
@matigo It will become even more comfortable after I have adjusted the ”cockpit” properly. I have driven it on pretty good roads and on some stretches that were not in that great shape. So far no complaints. Let’s see how it will feel when we drive longer distances.
But if I remember correctly, I drove an older model of the same car couple of years ago when we rented a 7-seater for a week. That would suggest that it should not suffer from any major problems.
@larand I won’t be driving to work, I get there more easily using public transport. Also, parking would cost me a kidney if I would drive to work. But, we will most likely drive to hobbies (floorball, gym) and to the grocery store from now on. However, that would not make me drive as much as you do. ?
We got the car to ourselves today. The salesman gave us brand new tires, as the ones it had were pretty slick already, and they installed them, for free. That’s why there was this 2-day wait.
I took the kids for a short-ish drive in the afternoon. Let’s see how often we end up using the car in the end.
@tewha Yeah, I will go and change the battery later this summer or early fall. The device might be used as a testing device, so it would be nice if it would not be a total brick. Alternatively, if I can purchase it to myself (it is owned by the company) it will be passed on to my older daughter1. It would be nice if she could actually use it, should that scenario play out.

Whose 5s will be then passed to our older son whose 5 will be given to the younger son.
The battery of my iPhone 6s is dying. Yesterday, the phone turned off even though there was, supposedly, 20% of charge left. On the other hand, it has been in active use for almost 3 years. No wonder its battery is in that condition. I will get a new phone from work later this year, maybe this one will last until then.
Speaking of new equipment, I will get a new laptop too in late August or early September. I think I need to look at the available options after my vacation.
