@matigo It is very likely that I can ignore those emails after my vacation completely. There has been talks that we wouldn’t continue in the project come August because of budget constraints. ?♂
The users have complained a lot about wrong data displayed by the app. The ”fun” fact is that the app fetches the data from a backend service and displays the data as it is. That means the service returns wrong data. I have reported this to the customer many, many, many times and they have not contacted the team responsible for the service. When I finally contacted the team myself directly, they answered that they will not make any updates to the existing service as they are in the middle of total rewrite of the whole shebang and the new version will be out later this year. That has caused quite a shitstorm now. It’s good that I started my vacation half an hour ago.
@gtwilson In this context ”circus” refers to those two presidents that will hold a meeting. I believe that will cause a lot of inconvenience to regular people here.
Speaking of parents-in-law, mine will visit us tomorrow. Let’s see what kind of inconveniences that will cause.
Oh joy. The circus, as my wife lovely put it, will come to the town in a couple of weeks. Luckily I am on vacation then so that I don’t need to make major adjustments to my commute/lunch break/whatever.
Oh joy. Tomorrow I need to head to the dentist due to a broken filling. I ate some soft candy when the filling just broke off. And if I remember correctly, this is the same tooth that lost its filling the last time too.

We cruised from Helsinki last night, spent the day in Stockholm, and we will cruising back next night. We didn’t tell the kids1 about the cruise until we were leaving. They were surprised and happy.
