My brain hurts. The program logic I wrote should work just fine (and I can verify it by observing the object state) but the UI doesn't reflect the changes as it should.
@matigo I have noticed that people have very, very mixed experiences. Some have a ton of (weird) problems, others have none. I have personally had no other problems than app icons disappearing but that was a temporary glitch.
@streakmachine Yeah, I remember how the 3 major network operators here in Finland had (and probably still have) very mixed set of equipment. One of them (DNA) used mostly Ericsson, another one (Elisa?) mixed Ericsson and Nokia, and the third (Sonera/Telia?) used mostly Nokia.
@streakmachine Cool! I can't remember if Telia (or Sonera, as the Finnish part of the company was called back in the days, that is, until this year) used Ericsson's network equipment. If they did, there could be my code running in the network that you are monitoring.
@matigo On the other hand, it is an experience to have always-present sun light in June too…
@matigo Well, I could sleep until the sun is high in the sky1, but I am not allowed to.
Though this time of the year the sun is never high here, it just barely gets over the horizon. In the Northernmost part of Finland they will see the sun next time in January…
Dead tired. Woke up maybe at 0500, before my wife's alarm went off. After that, I did doze off every now and then but couldn't fall asleep again. After my wife got up (maybe at 0530?)1, our older son woke up, went to the toilet, and after that he went downstairs to talk with my wife. When my own alarm went off at 0630, the younger son woke up and went downstairs to talk with his brother. Within 15 minutes they were having a loud argument about something stupid…
She had to leave early for the voluntary work gig she is having today.
