Got the new side mirror today. It was fairly straightforward to install. It cost me only 25€ with postage, which is a lot cheaper than going to a repair shop and asking them to do the work.

@matigo There is a country-wide store that allows one to check which spare parts are good for your car. The one they had listed and recommended for our car did not fit. Had to do a lot of searching before we found a store where they had the right one.

@matigo Indeed. Or that their past behavior will affect how they are perceived when they are repeating things that haven’t worked that well.
@matigo I think you have your fair share (and then some more) of that shit yourself. It’s… annoying, to put it mildly. In today’s release meeting he wanted to have another pilot group try out the app before the release (it is planned to happen on Tue or Wed) and soon thereafter he went on and ranted how there is so little time to do these pilots before the release. Well, the reason there’s so little time is that he wants the releases happen on such a tight schedule… 🙄
We will see next Tuesday how disappointed the Product Owner will be when we will shoot down his attempts to include certain stories to the next Sprint. There are 3 major reasons why we will do that:
- Those stories are not defined well enough to fulfil our Definition of Ready1,
- We have effectively less than 50% of capacity due to the holidays, and
- There are other, doable things that must be done to fulfil his other wishes.
Also, he might get slightly pissed off because we have done some work for him that he doesn’t want to do. Or at least that’s how his attitude towards the project appears to us.
Which then leads to the actual point I had for this post: yeah, have been way, way too busy lately. Again. So, hello my old friends. I’m not dead. Yet.
This actually caused some issues in the last Sprint when we took in stuff that did not fulfil the DoR. We don’t want that happen again.
