@phoneboy Nice! 👍
@matigo So, we should be using social.10centuries.org then? I am a bit lost as I have not been around that much lately.
@phoneboy Wow, just wow. And I assume your diabetes is under control now? I remember you posting about your ”progress” with it too.
@matigo Hah! As if I would need any extra strength to do that. I am banging my head against the keyboard constantly, thanks to Android and funky requests by the customer(’s customers).
@matigo I have been in a similar situation before. I know that it will take at least 2 months before I can consider using the same weights than before the break. Slowly but steadily, that is the key.
Went to the gym for the first time since early March. I had my membership on a break due to the Covid-19 situation. The weights were heavier than I remembered (not really 😉) so I took away 10kg/22lb (upper body) or 20kg/44lb (legs) from what I used to have before the break. It was a wise decision, the sets were just right for the first exercise. Feeling pretty good at the moment. 👍
@matigo The compressor of the AC unit didn’t start up, so they were investigating the reason for that. The first guess was the system had run out of some liquid, which would explain why the compressor does not turn on to protect itself.
Turned out that some cell in the overall cooling system was leaking, so they had to replace that. After the replacement was installed and refilled, turned out that while the compressor gets electricity, so the whole compressor unit was busted. Another replacement to be done. And that was the wrong part they received and caused the delay.
Took our car for repairs on Wednesday. The more they investigated one issue, the more broken things they found. Also, they were not ready on Wednesday, nor Thursday. They were waiting for a part that they got today. Want to guess was that the right part? Of course not. Now the car will stay there over the weekend. Let’s hope they will get the right part on Monday.
