@matigo Well, by going to the right toilets you should be able to hear the band playing. And feel the portable toilet vibrate to the music as well. 😆
@matigo There were plenty of portable toilets, but there were still long queues whenever the mass was moving between stages. Also, the food stalls had both quiet and busy periods, again depending on who was playing and on which stage.
60,000. That was the number of guests at the 3-day Tuska festival. 20,000 on Friday (when I was not there), 23,000 on Saturday (yeah, there was a ton of people there), and 17,000 on Sunday (there was clearly more room than on Saturday).
@hazardwarning As both Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius are still pretty darn actively, you could catch them somewhere in the UK. 😊
Day 2. A ton of people also today, everyone having fun. Stratovarius is keeping the audience entertained, they played both old and new material.
// @hazardwarning
@hazardwarning Yep, this festival has 3 outdoor stages, the main stage and 2 medium-sized stages that can be used at the same time. Then there is a fourth stage that is small and indoors, used mainly by really new bands, and that can be used even when the other stages are playing.
And regarding the size of the festival, there were maybe 25,000 people in attendance. The attached pictures do not give full credit to the mass of people.
