Now it is done. As I have been using tagging in my Blips [pekonen.cc], they have looked a bit out of place as they have not been highlighted in any way nor there has been an aggregate site that would display all Blips that have that tag. Now both of these issues have been resolved.
Now all those plans are almost done. There is only one more thing to do before I will make it public, and I can then finetune a couple of related things later as they are not blocking the thing I have done.
The project I work on has been going on for almost 7 years now. In the early years the app was developed from scratch for 1.0 release, and when I joined the project we started continuous development for the new features. To differentiate these 2 eras, I coined the terms BCE (Before Continuous d'Evelopment) and CE (Continuous d'Evelopment). I found them funny. Luckily the team loved them as well.
Managed to work a bit on new features for my website. I have been planning to do these things since forever, I just did not have time to work on those until now. It needs some additional working though to make it work like a charm, but the building blocks are done. I just wish I had more time to work on these personal projects…

@matigo Yup. Now it is fixed, took me a minute to open the feed file and encode the character manually to & ;. I guess I should really do some input sanitation before I generate the RSS feed so that these issue can be avoided.
@matigo Indeed. Actually I was pondering if I would use ’+’ or ’&’ before I made the post and chose the one that borked things. 🤦♂
Sigh… Because of that ’&’ my RSS feed (parser) for the microblogs got borked. Will need to fix that tomorrow, today I don’t have time to work on it.
