Last vacation day. Tomorrow my day will be more or less the same as on vacation with the only difference being that I need to do work instead of any relaxing activity (such as reading or checking things from the Interwebs).
Went for a run for the first time in 7 weeks. I have been slacking a lot lately, so I thought I would take it a bit easier and aim for a 9 min/km pace. After the run, I checked the stats and the average pace was, drum roll please, 8 min 57 sec/km. 👍
@matigo Yeah, the team has gone through some changes lately and the workflows still need some tweaks, but overall things are in such a great shape that it is easy to take vacations. 😊
One week of vacation left. I am not stressed at all to go back to work, the others members of the team are experts, so I know everything will be A-OK.
@matigo But yeah, got home safe. Had only 2 breaks this time, and after the first break the weather turned nice again (sunshine mostly).

@matigo You wish. There was indeed a huge thunder storm today. We were bombarded with heavy rain early during the drive, with occasional lightning flashes.
Also, we were attending my mother’s birthday party at Puijo peak [puijopeak.fi] and one lightning stroke the tower while we were in the lodge building next to it. It was loud. 😬

Heading back home today. The weather will most likely be not as nice it was on Friday, but we can take it easy as we are not in rush.
@matigo It was not that bad, we had 3 breaks: one after 115 km, another after a 135 km leg, and third after a 107 km stint. Luckily the weather was nice too.
