Let’s see if things have calmed down enough. I surely hope so.
@matigo Yes. I have been pushing myself a bit too hard lately. Also, we (the family) are moving to a bigger apartment, so I have been swamped with that ”work” as well.
@matigo Indeed. Luckily it is only a flu, as that means it should be manageable.
@matigo I hope so too. The second Covid test was also negative, so this must be some nasty flu.
@matigo Let’s see. The younger daughter is having fever (she got tested today), and the older son seems also be feverish. The youngest, who was sick already on Thursday, has nothing but running nose.
4/4 kids sick. One has been tested for Covid (negative), another will get tested today. Fingers crossed.
I don’t care about job titles and such, as I work to get the shit done. However, I admit it still feels pretty nice that I am now officially a Software Architect after having worked in that role for a couple of years already.
Now I can joke that I used to be an experienced developer, now I am both a doctor (not that kind of a doctor) and an architect (not that kind of an architect). 😆
Schools started on Wednesday. No Covid exposures, yet. Let’s hope it stays like that. 😬
Also, 2/4 of kids got their first vaccine shots today. Our third child, the one with asthma, will get his shot on his 12th birthday in mid-December, as the vaccine has been approved for 12-yo and older. Of course, if it gets approved to be administered for children under 12 before that, he will be getting it as soon as possible.
@matigo Well, we have not been anywhere for that long, so the match must have been gotten through the wall. For example yesterday we did not go out at all (it was a rainy day), so we for sure could not have been exposed.
