Our younger daughter was supposed to have a tooth surgery today, but it postponed by a week while we were driving there.
@matigo So far the forecast says it would be above freezing until early hours tomorrow, and by then the roads should be more or less clear already.
The forecasted snowstorm ended up being just a regular rain with fairly strong winds. The great part of this is that the roads are not full of fluffy snow, the not-so-great bit is that everything is soaked.
@matigo By 6 the ”situation” had calmed down and I was able to get some more sleep. He’s still staying in the bathroom, just in case, as the stomach ache comes and goes. Luckily he has not thrown up more than that one time.
It is 5 AM and I have been awake for the past 90 minutes. The youngest complained about stomach pain, and he has thrown up once already. Let’s see how the day evolves from here…
@matigo I prefer not to use Microsoft products as they have a very, how should I put it, enterprise/corporate feel that does allows only small (if any) adjustments to the way they are used. I prefer ”tools” that allow at least reasonable customization so that one can make it work for you instead of the opposite.
@matigo Indeed. I have always been a curious person, learning new things has been my driving force throughout my life. This has given me a ton of opportunities, most of which I have enjoyed a lot.
