Managed to burn the left index finger pretty bad. Luckily there will be only blisters, but they will cover a half of the finger. š¬
Took the kiddo to the dental surgery. This time it did not get postponed. Now she can get the (first) operation done and she can start the recovery process.
@matigo In the end it was quite a trivial change, but it caused the feature not work because we were assuming the thing to have the same name on both.
@matigo This time the issue was one of those 2 really difficult things in programming:
- Cache invalidation
- Naming things
- Off-by-one errors
They managed to use different name for the same thing in 2 different places, making it impossible to do just a simple change.
Oh why, oh why things must have been done so complicated by the backend teamā¦
@matigo I have not read the details and donāt know the exact plans, but this has basically the feeling of what was all the rage back in 2012. I remember how there was a ton of discussion on the service turned their back on the developer community, which was one of the triggers to get ADN started.
Apparently Twatter is planning to end free access to their APIs. I am getting strong 2012 vibes out of this announcementā¦
@nitinkhanna Well, there are some security concerns to be consideredā¦ š¤·āā Which is totally understandable, if the app is for things that should be strictly secure, but for other generic fart apps that does not make any sense.
