Apart from random coughing, my voice sounding harsh, and my lung capacity being far from normal, I am feeling just fine again.

It was enjoyable. As the series is set in a huge world with dozens of main characters and hundreds if not thousands of side characters (an understatement, to be fair), the story has many layers and viewpoints, which is, in my opinion, a great thing.

Phew… It took 46 days to complete that book. It is almost 1200 pages long, in not-so-easy English, typeset with rather small font. I won’t be reading book 4 just yet, I think will take some lighter reading first.

This appears to be influenza, not a regular flu. Also, 4/6 of us got it, and it has been quite bad for all of us.

Spent the day in bed. Had a nasty headache that took a lot longer than usually to tame with a pain killer, and I was feeling really cold every now and then. Now I am feeling a lot better, but I’m not 100% back in business yet.

Guess who has 2 thumbs, is on holiday on both Thursday and Friday, and apparently has flu as well?

Just 2 days ago it was all gray and there was snow only where it had piled up. Then we got some 10+ cm of new snow during the Fri-Sat night, and it has not stopped snowing yet. The temperature hovers around 0°C, meaning that the snow might melt away in a few days. In the mean time there are these rather nice views.
