@hazardwarning I haven’t. But thanks for the tip! I will take a look at those after I have finished the 2 first books of Johanna Mo’s Öland series (got them as a christmas present) and the third volume of G.R.R. Martin.
@matigo I’m so damn sorry. She brought sunshine to your life. Heck, she brought sunshine to out lives as well with the photos you shared.
@hazardwarning While the ”who did it” genre could have become stale, the new writers seem to find ways to make it interesting over and over again.
Finished the last book of this year as I cannot complete another one during these remaining 2 days. I have been reading quite a lot this year but I have not kept a track of the books I have completed. There has been at least a bunch of Elly Griffiths’ Ruth Galloway novels and the first 2 volumes of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire1 (in English).
Better known as The Game of Thrones.
@matigo Yep. That was the only option (5x30) they had available. But I guess one can book successive 30-minute slots and use as many gift card items as needed.
5 x 30 minute massage gift card acquired. Now I just need to book time for the first session…
I might have come to the terms that this feeling is a combination of mid-life crisis and ”what I would like to do next” influenced by discovering that one company doing pretty much what I would like to do for living. I will use the next year to learn a bunch of new things (specifically artificial intelligence and machine learning), then I will double-check if that company is still running as smoothly as it is now. Then I can make decisions on what to do with my life.
@matigo True that. But I am not sure if I have the experience either even though I have done a bit of everything during these years.
// @sumudu
@matigo It is very likely that. The company I bumped into does pretty much what I would like to do, but I am not 100% sure if I am ready to make the jump now.
@sumudu I must say that I hate this feeling. Then again, I have been doing things I did not get any formal education for for the past 11 years, so no wonder I feel like this.
I accidentally got familiar with a company that would do things I used to do before I had to change my career. They have open positions, but their ”requirements” are something I never formally got education for. I might know bits here and there, but I am by no means an expert in that subject they are requiring. This made me even more anxious.
