The blister turned out to be smaller than I originally thought. Which is great, but it still aches.
How I managed to burn my finger this bad? I was preparing food in a steel pot. I took the pot from the oven (with oven mittens on) and I had put it on a counter. Then I continued cleaning the kitchen and the very same area where I put the pot on was next. Without thinking I thought I move the pot a bit and as I was doing that with my bare left hand, I got burned.
