I've got plenty of bruises all over my body, and the one on the right knee is really big. I must have looked pretty beaten up when I was wearing shorts at the floorball practice.

Today we got beds (re)assembled for everyone1. The new home is taking a shape, stuff is getting into right place, and so forth. There is still a lot to unpack, but that work will continue as a part of ”normal” everyday life.
We slept 2 nights on matresses on the floor simply because the beds were disassembled for easier transportation. Also, the beds for the upstairs’ rooms wouldn’t have been possible to carry the stairs without disassembly.
@kdfrawg I would say it’s too much work. Next time we won’t be moving ourselves, we will let the professionals do the work.
Okay, I got that wrong. There was 2 full vans of stuff, simply because the things were not easily stackable. Now the old home is empty.
Still one van-ful of stuff (mostly from the storage room), final clean-up, and then we will be ready with the move tomorrow. Also, today I took almost 22k steps according to my Fitbit.
