So, Finland's first Taco Bell opens today. I know what I won't be having for lunch today.
@matigo I guess the normal Farcebork terms and conditions apply here too. That is, all these photos will be Farcebork's property and they can use them for whatever they want and that the terms and conditions can be changed at any time without asking renewed consent from the "users".
@matigo Not that horrible by default, but when you start adding SDKs for the various Android versions, create new emulators, etc., it does build up.
Yes, one can remove unnecessary components and tools when needed, but still. shakes head
Great work, Google. Android Studio is a major memory hoarder and it requires a ton of disk space to have all the required tools available. I thought a laptop with a 256 GB SSD would have been enough for a couple of years, but no…
@matigo Mm-hm, tell me about it… Luckily I am in a situation where I can make breaking changes to the app’s database models as the app is not out yet.
@matigo Yep. But it’s interesting how such essential special cases were not discussed until now, and I had all the people who know these things sitting right next to me.
Surprisingly many special cases come up pretty late in the implementation phase. Luckily they have been pretty straightforward to get done and this is not my first rodeo. Still, I would have liked to have all these specs in the beginning.
@kdfrawg Almost all of us. My wife and the older son seem to be the ones who have managed to avoid it.
