@kdfrawg Now that we finally have sub-freezing temperatures, it would be nice to have some snow too. There is none at the moment.

Um, hi everyone. I was way too busy last week, so you have missed a ton of updates. Unfortunately I have already forgotten what I wanted to share, too. ?
But, the most important thing I do remember. The Douche, while being a douche also last week, did apologize for his behavior on Thursday. It may be that he finally starts to realize that he is acting like douche.
@thrrgilag Like @larand said, there seems to be none in the foreseeable future. I've been meaning to write one, but haven't had time to go beyond login. I do hope I will find time to create even a very crude app before summer.
@matigo Also, this afternoon, when I had to be elsewhere, he was looking after me on the chat because he wanted to demo the app in some meeting I had no idea about. He wanted to use the latest and greatest app version that also requires a breaking server change to work. I did tell him that earlier today, but he was too hasty to install the latest version and wanted to use it. So, they updated the server and something broke, so obviously I got all the blame for it. Well, I was elsewhere and couldn't respond in any way, so he had to revert back to an old version (both the app and the server). That caused him to be quite a jerk once again. This time I gave something back, saying that "I'm sorry that I have a life outside this work". I do hope that was aggressive enough.
@matigo I wish I could do that. He's not physically in the same space anymore, so he likes to shout this shit over the chat. If he were, I would punch him in the face. Repeatedly, for at least 5 minutes.
If I was ready to open a bottle before 10 am yesterday, today I didn't even get to the metro to get to work when I had that desire. The Douche is being a major douche again…
I could tell you about The Stupid was nothing but stupid again, but instead I will tell a pretty darn funny thing. My wife started today as an intern1 in a multinational corporation. As one of her first things she got a company phone. Want to guess which phone did she get? I’ll give a few seconds to make guesses.
I bet you didn’t guess it right. She got a Lumia (I don’t know the model, though). Yes, for real.
Also, she suffered from the typical corporation login woe as she couldn’t log into her computer because her account had gotten locked.
A required part of her studies.
@matigo This guy is a Douche with a capital D. The other managers/POs in this corporation are way, way better in their job.
The conductor app I wrote is going through its first real test at the moment. The PO, who is there with a conductor to perform the test, sent me feedback "caching of inspected tickets is somehow broken" because it works as "specified"1. ?
Were there any specifications how that feature should actually work? Of course not! We decided together to do it like it is now.
