Oh god… That would be just awesome here where we use some funky characters.

Speaking of funky characters, the national people registry here in Finland got a major warning because they are storing names using ISO 8859-1 character encoding and that does not allow some characters used in the Same languages. That means certain Same names are not encoded correctly in the registry.

Standards (and implementations) that allow only ASCII characters. Yay. Not.

Ran for the first time since October1. It was a short run, only 2.3 km and 13 minutes, but I thought it would be easier to get back to the business with that than with a longer one. It felt, as one can expect, not that easy after such a long break. Let’s see will it get easier after a few runs.

Listening to Sentenced once again. Such a great band, a lot of great songs.

I'm not sure if I have ever been this happy about rain. It hasn't rained for a month and a half, so it's a refreshing change.

Based on this quick search [metal-archives.com] the majority of Icelandic metal bands is from the darker end of the spectrum.

Imagine November when the trees and the ground are black and brown, there’s only a handful of hours of daylight that is blocked by thick clouds, it rains continuously for days, and it’s only +2°C. That does funky things to your psyche.

Currently listening to the Down [itunes.apple.com] album by Sentenced. [itunes.apple.com] Good stuff, good stuff.

I was thinking about them getting waterboarded, but that would not be cool.

Waterboarding school?
