@matigo Nice! It is really the best part of being a mentor to see them "grow" and learn all the things.
@matigo That is still significantly faster than what I had yesterday. Based on the average I had (11m30s), you would be done with a 5 km walk when I just reach the 4 km mark… 😁
@matigo Well, there is also that. However, I would need to stay behind as I am still in the reserve forces until I am 65 years old. But I would not be among the first to enter the frontlines.
Went for a walk. The pace is much, much slower than what @matigo has, so I would definitely lose to him in a competition. 😉
Nevertheless, it was nice to go for a walk after a hiatus (due to covid and a trip to see the grandparents). Now that there is no good excuse to skip those walks (or visits to the gym), I may start getting back in shape.
@matigo No. The passports are needed as a formal ID, which is required for opening a bank account etc. Then we also are planning to go to a vacation in a couple of years, then the youngest will also get his passport at latest.
Passport application for the younger daughter completed. Now they will actually make it and deliver it to a pick-up point.
Next week we would do the same for the older son, after that 3/4 of the kids will have a (valid) passport.
@variablepulserate Nah… The perks of being on holiday, I actually have time to do all these things. 😊
Booked a dental hygienist for the younger son and a dentist for myself and the younger daughter. Now I need to re-book the daughter's appointment as we cannot make the appointment I originally booked. Then I also need to book myself an appointment to fix the crown from one of back teeth that broke off after I had booked the appointments…
@matigo Trust is a tricky thing. It takes a while to gain it, but it can be lost in an instant.
@matigo It is the different apps one installs that ”leak” data. Especially when they are from the big players, Google and Meta. Claiming that it is the device that does that is just misinformed marketing bullshit.
