I have now a bit sore throat, but it could also be due to chilly weather we have had this summer so far. But let’s make a test and find out.

3/4 of the kids are sick as well, and the only one who is not sick was away for a few days. We will keep on testing ourselves every now and then, just to be on the safe side.

Yes. We will be heading to see the grandparents on the very first day (July 1), stay there for 3 nights and then come back. Then, on the 9th we will go on that cruise to Stockholm that we were supposed to go today, luckily got it postponed with ease. Otherwise, just chilling.

Frustrating morning. A lot of things happening all at the same time, and a bunch of them are truly irritating me. It’s good that I have a 4-day weekend starting tomorrow, and then there is only 4 workdays left before my vacation.

Yep. Sometimes I wish I knew if my posts are read by someone else than myself, but then again what would I do with that information? If someone finds the content useful, good for them, I don’t necessarily need to know who has been reading my posts.

Managed to get this far. 2+ years, that’s pretty darn impressive. Now my wife has Covid for real, she made a test that was positive. We might have had it earlier, but then all tests have been negative.

Yep. I don’t know if they are of any importance to others, but those do matter to me.

Just re-read my latest blog post about running linters automagically in the Git pre-commit hook. I had forgotten half of the things I had written there, but then I remembered immediately why I wrote it like the post like that.

JavaScript is on my list of languages I will do the converter. I will do the exactly same thing on multiple programming languages, just to learn the string processing capabilities on them. Now I am doing the script in Bash, and it will use the *nix tools for string processing.

We have used a Finnish term ”väliainainen” that is a mix-up for words ”väliaikainen” (temporary) and ”ainainen” (permanent). Feel free to use that as a basis for inventing a similar word in English. 😊
