@matigo Well, this is not so important to either my work or the general public. It is just something I would like to have and do. 🤷‍♂
Also, I think I got the final open questions answered for the framework I have been designing. Now it is just a matter of time to finding time to do the implementation (and documentation).
We got the permission to release the fix we had in place, but let’s see if there will be another change in the future to get the feature work as the business wants. That will require some additional discussions how to handle a couple of special cases, and that discussion will involve a lot of overall architectural discussions. It won’t be ”a quick fix” then to implement it.
In today’s episode of stupid corporate shit we deal with a feature that is ”not working as it should” in spite of it having been in production for 2 years now and having been built as specified… 🤦‍♂
@matigo I would say improvements, not necessarily optimizations. Especially when it is about a rather obscure library.
@matigo The original project has some things I don’t like, so it will be more like get inspiration and rewrite.
It has been a month since I submitted a proposal to that one open source project. Nothing but crickets ever since. I guess I need to start thinking about making my own project to get the desired functionality.
My ”Move streak” ends today. Caught flu, so I am not feeling that great now. I managed to make a new streak record, which is nice.
@variablepulserate I could not have said it better. Even though he was not so prominently everywhere here in Finland, I remember seeing him in those British series that were aired also here (which is a lot, to be fair).
