@streakmachine Shame on them. That's a good strategy. Better to have multiple options, there's a bigger chance at least one will go through.
@streakmachine I've been (mostly) away for the past few weeks, so I may have missed the news regarding the position at NPM Inc. you applied for. Did you get the job or did they miss their chance to get an awesome support dude?
@matigo Could be, I haven't followed any news regarding that. And to be honest, I don't care anymore. I won't be buying an Android device for myself ever again (I have always gotten my Android phones from work, so technically I haven't bought any). The reasons will be listed in an upcoming blog post.

@ed3d Lucky you. My Nexus 5, released in late 2013 and acquired in early 2014, doesn't get Nougat at all. I chose it because I got the impression that the phone, being a Nexus device, would get major OS upgrades for longer than 2 versions.
@matigo It did cost 2160€, that is, 2€ per can (that contains a 0.15€/can recycling deposit fee you get back when you return them). That's not necessarily the cheapest one can get, but that's pretty cheap here in Finland.
@matigo Yes and no. We do drink beer every now and then, but we also host events where we serve beer. So, it won't get wasted (pun intended).
Also, I think it was partly a dare. This 1000-pack of beer (to be precise, it's a 1080-pack, 5 layers of 9 cases of 24 cans) was released by a brewery as a response to a 100-pack another brewery released a while back. The shop from where my colleagues bought it from thought it would be more like a marketing thing and that nobody would buy one.
You probably have already heard of this. [imgur.com] Yes, that really happened. How do I know that? Well, that's the company I work at. You can, in fact, see half of me in the 15th photo from the top, I sit on the sofa in the left bottom corner.
@streakmachine Indeed. I hoped for being so lucky that I would get one but, as with everything that involves hoping for a miracle, I kind of knew I wouldn't.
