And yet there are a ton of people who resist the natural evolution of a language. The language we speak today is already different from the one that was spoken when we were born. And that's not even that long ago…

Hadn't heard of him before. Must check his shows out.

@kdfrawg Agreed. This show was pretty good until recently, which I find unfortunate.

I think it was. I have very vague memories of finding it via one of the "popular" networks.

On Taking Pictures. The hosts were fun, and while photography isn't my forte and/or hobby, I still enjoyed listening to creative people talk about their craft.

I have also stopped listening to tech podcasts that focus on current development of things1. This one was actually a podcast for creative people, so not so tech-focused.

  1. I'm actually currently listening to an episode of a show that focuses on tech history, and the only show focusing on "current" tech is Changelog that is all about OSS.

Aye. All tech douchebags yelling what they would like Apple to do (ironically, all those "requirements" they have are oftentimes contradictory) must be tiring.

Sigh. Unsubscribed from yet another podcast that had stepped into ATP territory. The premise of the show was interesting, which is why I originally started listening to it, but lately it has always started with "why Apple sucks" rants. The world is full of that already, please stop now.

In addition to the visit to Porvoo in the morning we drove to Lauttasaari (a suburb of Helsinki) to play some Pokémon Go. The views from the Southern shore of the island are also pretty darn nice. Really nice.

It is. There were a lot of Chinese tourists there, too.
