@streakmachine Written Danish is somewhat understandable (it's basically just Norwegian with some funky spelling here and there), but spoken Danish… That's just a nightmare.

@streakmachine Aye. The best thing was that I actually understood what they were talking about without much extra effort. I found that quite amusing. But then again, I like Nordic languages. I wish I would be able to speak and write Swedish more often.

This morning I overheard 2 older ladies talking in a metro car. First I thought that they were talking (Finnish) Swedish simply because I understood pretty well what they were talking about. It took me a couple of minutes and a few funky words from them to realize that they were actually speaking Norwegian.

@tomas Do I like it? Hell yeah! It has very apt observations of the world in almost every time, so I don't understand at all why people would get angry about the comic.

I found this [satwcomic.com] both apt and funny. But I feel sad about it too.
