Today the moon was pale again. And it was even colder than yesterday, –20°C.

That’s no space station…

I snapped that photo on my way to work, it was not planned in any way. It turned out pretty nice.

I guess they are there at the ice holes. I just didn't walk past any. ?‍♂

That’s no space station. That’s the eclipsed moon. Also, it’s –17°C out there. Brr…

Red moon.

I will be. There are so many limitations in the current code that certain things need rewriting a lot of things.

In Today's WTF software engineering the story continues…

I "solved" yesterday's issue by extending the existing functionality to support this new format. All good and so forth, but today I have a totally new problem.

Now the API to the sales backend doesn't work every time. When I call the API with certain data, it gets through just fine. With a different ticket identifier the API returns an error "api is not defined".

I drank one. And took the metro and walked from the metro station to the daycare and then home.

Not that many bottles and maybe ~5 %.

Today's WTF software engineering…

I have continued working on that feature I mentioned the other day. Now I have basically got it working. However, once I call the inspection API, things go south a big way. And the funny thing is that the data that goes to the API is exactly the same as with the other call that goes through just fine.

As I am now at our own office, I don't have to care about the customer's policy and, hence, I could start drinking all that beer we have here…

Fun? Is that yet another Javascript framework/library/whatever? And I thought Android was a mess…
