@matigo Nope. Fixing bugs found in an Android app module done by other people.
My day in a nutshell:
99 little bugs in the code
99 little bugs in the code
Take one down, patch it around
117 little bugs in the code
@matigo Yeah, but I doubt I will ever do that. There are only 2 people working on this project and we have a ton of things to do and keep an eye on. Perhaps they are now realizing that maybe the project has way too few people working on it…
@matigo Also, everything is my fault again, especially all those things that I haven't done in the first place. Sometimes I wonder if I should take a sick leave whenever I need to handle all this shit…
Sigh… There is a crashing bug in the app1 that has an easy workaround that users can be instructed to use in the meantime. I have a solution idea but it takes a couple of days to write and test it. However, this bug seems to be a major issue to one person and the app cannot be published even with the instructions to work around it.
Caused by Android, by the way, not by the app code.
Whoa… A Finnish bird photographer has managed to snap a photo of a golden eagle [en.wikipedia.org] (Aquila chrysaetos chrysaetos) that, according to the band in its leg, is over 34.5 years old. Impressive, I must say.
@streakmachine Aye. That is the very reason I have stopped following tech media completely. They produce nothing but endless stream of complaints of irrelevant non-issues.
@matigo They are great brain-turned-off entertainment. Worth the time investment. Also, if you watch them second time you will notice a lot more hidden gags and gems in every scene.
@matigo 2? At least, but I would recommend The Lego Batman Movie too. It is full of pop culture references that you will certainly like. Also, the story is pretty good.
Then there’s The Lego Ninjago Movie, which has also nice gags but is not that tightly tied to the other movies.
The movie (see the original post to which this is a reply) was pretty good. Tons of goofs, small gags here and there for both kids and adults, and the overarching story was actually something I wish our kids will get and adjust their behavior accordingly.
