Today was the first day this week when it has not snowed ~15 cm per day. On Monday and Tuesday it was also windy, so there is some nice snow ”art” here and there.
Something positive about the visit to the dentist. There wasn't as much work to be done as originally planned, and I got in well before my appointed time because the patient who had the appointment before me had to cancel at last minute.
Yesterday evening we re-watched Cloud Atlas. [imdb.com] It was still great.
Also, we noticed that we have recently watched movies and series where Ben Whishaw has always played a gay person.
@matigo I didn’t get the thing completed, so no beer at work for me. ?
But, the things are now in a lot better shape than on Monday when I started the work. Maybe that’s a good enough reason for me to have a drink tonight.
@matigo If there would not be any responsibilities of being an adult and a parent also tomorrow, I would have absolutely no limits whatsoever. Also, it’s nodejs code, that’s another reason to have a drink.
Getting close to the end of a big refactoring I have been doing for the server the app communicates with. The server code was mostly in one file that had hundreds of lines of code. I have moved the individual features to separate files and made some parts of the certain features reusable, making the code base more manageable. Once I get the work completed (hopefully tomorrow) I will for sure have a beer. Or two.
