True, true. I always recommend people to think the overall quality of a thing first, price should have a lot lower priority. Also, the expected lifespan of that product should be factored in when thinking about the quality-to-price ratio.

Speaking of acquiring new software when changing platforms, I always cringe when people say they absolutely need MS Office suite to be productive. But I also give credit to Microsoft's marketing team, they have made their proprietary file formats a de facto standard. Personally, I would use the simplest tool that works for a task on that specific platform I need to use to get it done. I dislike overly complex megasized applications that try to be everything for everyone. But as in many cases in life, people resist change and stick to the things they (think they) know.

There are many brand new PC laptops that have a battery that barely last 3 hours…

Decided what the icon of my 10C apps will be like. Its background will be dark (close to black), and it will contain the first letter of the app name. Something like the icon of Riposte, if you need a reference.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to use 10C in a private browser tab/window? Are you not trusting Jason or do you want keep other sites from tracking what you are doing in other windows/tabs?

While the admin panel can be used for blurbing, it has limited capabilities. Maybe that should be mentioned more clearly on that page. And Cappuccino apparently uses some browser features the private mode blocks, rendering it inpractical for your purposes.

You really, really need sleep now. Sleep well.

@lechindianer There's that much in the lakes next to Tampere already?

Congrats!

You seem to be using the admin panel, which doesn't let you view all your posts. Check out Cappuccino (chat.10centuries.org) for timelines with a lot more posts.

Feeling a lot better today than yesterday. Still not going to work, will work remotely.
