That's true. I find it amusing how the tech media keeps asking Apple to innovate in that space too while all the major Android brands have done nothing in the past, umm, 5 years? For example, if you look at the Google's vanilla offerings, there is no Pixel tablet at all and the latest Nexus tablet is few years old (and IIRC is discontinued). 🤷‍♂

Recent Android tablets? Well, the tablet selection is pretty much non-existent on the Android side. Partly because the phablets are ubiquitous there. 🙄

Also, some of the complaints (valid as they might have been) whined about back then are pretty much pointless nowadays. I am also questioning why I saved those articles as now I am trying to focus only on the positive things. 🤔

Those would be ancient… No, I had articles that were published ”only” 4 years ago. Many of those are pretty much outdated as technology has moved on a bit… 😬

You know, the code written by others sucks. Or does it? [qvik.com] 🤔

Yep. We do nothing for that feature. Luckily it was just a variant of another feature so we can use its layout for this one too.

Adding new features to a(n old) project. Specifications are clear, but one of the things is not possible without 1) adding yet another dependency (if such even exists) that may break or 2) writing the layout manager implementation myself. Wanna guess which option the customer chose?
