There are days when I think I am a very efficient Android developer and then there are days when I find myself a total newbie because of some weird shit in the platform.

For fuck's sake1

  1. Not sake, but sake.

Oh, look, a former colleague of mine is still working on Siri. He's one of the authors of a research paper [isca-speech.org] that describea how Siri works.

Maybe next year. Not this autumn yet, that's for sure.

Whoa. Checked the stats from yesterday's ~3 km run. The first km was pretty easy, 6 min/km, but the last ~2 km were both under 5:30 min/km (closer to 5:20, to be exact). I'm impressed. Very impressed.

@kdfrawg And douchebags are douche.

Seriously. I had to leave a company-internal chat room because the discussion of the next Android version being called Oreo evolved to Apple-bashing1. It's fucking 2017 and we are still going through this shit.

  1. Yes, the room was all about Android, but still…

@kdfrawg Our thunder storm, according to yesterday's forecast, has been downgraded just plain old rain this morning. Damn it.

I have moved to use the built-in Notes app that uses iCloud for sync, hence I can't help you here. But I reposted in case someone would know better.
