It is always "interesting" how the people who have not used a thing at all seem to consider themselves the best experts on that thing. If they would just get rid off their prejudices and, you know, try things out, they could be positively surprised. But no, The Internet Outrage™ machine would stop working if they would do that…

After about one week on the new laptop I can confirm my suspicions. All that crap the new MacBook Pros get is all subjective. I got used to the shorter travel of the keyboard, actually I kind of like this keyboard more than the old one. Also, I find the Touch Bar useful. There, an unpopular opinion, but that's as valid as the one that tell exactly the opposite.

It will be Yule present for the kids1. Luckily that means the weekends will be filled with, well, playing on other devices until then.

I thought the Mini NES had a limited run and it was sold out fairly soon after its release. However, we found out that Clas Ohlson, a Nordic gadget and haberdashery store, has them in stock and on the shelves of their stores. We went and bought one today together with an additional controller.
