@hazardwarning There were better times after the collapse of the USSR. However, the tone of the discussion about Finland in Russia has taken a few sharp turns during the past 5–10 years. For example, next year will be Finland's 100th year of independence, but some (fairly prominent) politicians in Russia have questioned the circumstances where Lenin granted the independence.
