I think I have found the color combination I want. Dark orange (#ff8c00) and its light mode variant (#b55000) have been relegated to take place as the fourth color (link hover), the main colors being black(#000000), linen (#faf0e6), and dark green (#228b22 on dark mode, #1f7f1f on light mode).
