The walk was… I would not call it horrible, maybe unpleasant is the proper word here.
In the attached photo you can get an idea of the conditions we have. It does not, however, convey the fairly strong wind and rain/sleet that was making the experience miserable. Also, the sun had set already hours ago, as the photo was taken at 7 pm.
The streets were either very slippery (where the traffic had packed the snow before the rain started) or full of slush (where the snow was not packed nor fully cleared). That combined with the weather made the walk, umm, rather wet.
