@streakmachine I guess this guy was just checking that 1) I wasn't wearing a suit and 2) didn't have the badge hanging around my neck as the stupid instructions1 say and therefore saw his opportunity to bully me a bit.
The instructions say that the badge should be above one's waist with the face of the badge directed forwards. I haven't seen the reasoning behind that and, to be fair, can't see why the corporate security would be compromised if one does not follow the instructions to the letter and has the badge in his/her pocket or something.
