@thrrgilag I should too. But I also would need to focus more on getting those clients in a releasable shape.

Anyone else use Dropbox to upload photos from an iPhone? Since going to ios 10, I cannot just plug the phone in to the desktop machine. I have to unlock the phone for Dropbox to be able to do its thing. I can't seem to find a setting that changes this. Any ideas?

I have been debugging a layout problem that happens only on a cheap-ish Samsung tablet. All the other tablets I have tested display the layout correctly. But this one… it just fucks up the layout. And I have no clue why.

Android OS distribution to the end users is another nightmare. I will not talk about it anymore because I want to keep my blood pressure steady.

Yet the only correct one in this case. And I say that as a part-time Android user and Android developer.

I thought I have been clear enough with my hatred towards Android itself. :-)

There are Android devices and then there are Samsung's "Android" devices. Of course, the latter do not work the way they should (i.e. the way the former group does).

I think I will revert that one change I did to make the app look prettier on a crappy Samsung tablet. The change makes the layout look bad on phones and other tablets.

@kdfrawg Yep. I have learned a lot how not to do things from this app. Or should that be interpreted the other way round, that I have learned how to do things correctly in the first place? :-)

Have been way too busy with actual work that I haven't had time to play with my 10C apps yet. But at least I have learned a few things from the app I work on on daily basis that I can apply to the 10C apps.

There were no posts in my timeline during that time, either.
