@kdfrawg I do sit way too much, but I also listen to quite a lot of music and podcasts (especially when I'm "in the zone" at work).
@matigo That's what the Internet says. Just because Apple is discontinuing their router business.
@matigo Most likely a wire gets disconnected in either the plug or the volume control thingy. I try to look after the headphones by not twisting the cord in weird positions, but they just keep on breaking.
And speaking of wireless, give me recommendations for a WiFi router that is (relatively) easy to set up, can share a USB device (printer, external HD) connected to it for Apple devices, and that allows the WiFi range be extended without the extending router being connected to the first router using a wired connection? The routers that Apple did fulfill all these criteria, but they are getting out of the router business, so there's that.
Fucking great. I have busted yet another pair of (wired) headphones. I guess now would be a perfect time to start looking at wireless options.
@jws Could you add me too to the Macchiato beta group? My email address is [email protected].
Another sleepless night ahead. This time it's the older son who throws up. Yay. Not.
@streakmachine Yep. A three-years-old models are oftentimes still pretty great, especially those top-of-the-line models. I think I will do fine with this 6s for 2 more years. My use cases do not stress it that much.
Also, I may spend some of that saved personal IT budget for other gadgets…
Speaking of new phones, I could get a new one from work late this year. I think I will use my current one (iPhone 6s) for one more year simply because I don't have any issues and/or desire to always have the latest and greatest. I used my iPhone 5 for 3 years and it is still in use (it's the phone of our older son, and our younger daughter used it for a year before him).
@indigo I think they have a spelling error, shouldn't it be "outside the contagious US"? ?
