@morrick No problem. I always assume a conversation that does not happen face to face to be asynchronous. Also, I know that people have other life outside this small bubble, which can cause the replies get delayed. Speaking of which, I should do one thing I promised to do in January… ?
@matigo And all those web view apps have been designed very poorly, they eat up all the RAM the machine has and they shit in their pants when the network connection either is flaky or changes.
@larand Or French. I've been looking my wife to study (or more precisely, revise and extend her skills in) that weird language this winter and I have found the reason why all French people are so rude. With a language like that there's no way they can understand each other at all.

@larand Nah, based on my experience the difference is that Hungarian started using some funky accents with consonants too…
// @phoneboy @hazardwarning @c
@larand "…language where the pronunciation, spelling, and grammar are all completely regular." Oh wait, I know a language like that! Now what was it called, it started with an F… ?

@kdfrawg I can live with a releasable version that may need some tweaking still, which is what happened when I left my previous job. This project ended pretty much in a similar state.
@c Ah, the classic…
I guess the person who worked on this project before me (and our company) didn't know of that. There were a lot of dragons I had to slay…
// @kdfrawg
@kdfrawg Well, that project won't ever be complete. It's a news app, so there will always be something to tweak.
I personally like to switch projects every now and then, if not for anything else than keeping my mind fresh. But I also want to leave a project in such a shape that the people who will work on it after me don't want to stab me dead.
@kdfrawg More or less. There's a lot of work to be done in that project still, but there will be other people working on those from now on.
@jenso Overwhelming? We haven't even started welcoming you… ?
Also, hello, and welcome.
