We will see next Tuesday how disappointed the Product Owner will be when we will shoot down his attempts to include certain stories to the next Sprint. We will see next Tuesday how disappointed the Product Owner will be when we will shoot down his attempts to include certain stories to the next Sprint. There are 3 major reasons why we will do that:

Those stories are not defined well enough to fulfil our Definition of Ready¹,
We have effectively less than 50% of capacity due to the holidays, and
There are other, doable things that must be done to fulfil his other wishes.

Also, he might get slightly pissed off because we have done some work for him that he doesn’t want to do. Or at least that’s how his attitude towards the project appears to us.

Which then leads to the actual point I had for this post: yeah, have been way, way too busy lately. Again. So, hello my old friends. I’m not dead. Yet.
